Sara Cooper's practice includes the litigation of various matters involving contracts claims and real estate matters with the litigation group as well as transactional real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Sara gained considerable experience working as a law clerk with the Cook County Public Defender's Office Juvenile Justice Division and Felony Trials Division and with the law firm of Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins, Ltd. With the aforementioned positions, Sara was actively involved in a wide range of matters including criminal defense, school law, municipal law, and employment litigation.
Sara graduated cum laude from Boston College receiving a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts with a minor in French. She earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she received the Cali Award for excellence in Legal Writing, Trial Advocacy and Property and attained Academic Deans List honors every semester.
