Jeffery R. Beck
Jeffery is an experienced trial attorney who began his career at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he started by handling felony convictions on appeal, and then cases involving abused and/or neglected children. After leaving his role as a criminal prosecutor, he joined the law firm Williams Montgomery & John Ltd. where he focused on commercial litigation matters throughout the United States.
Jeffery joined BUPD in May, 2009 and presently concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and general litigation. In doing so, he has litigated a wide range of claims in both state and federal courts including: general contract litigation, construction defect litigation, insurance defense, fraud, product liability, patent infringement, legal malpractice, civil rights cases and real estate litigation. He has first chaired numerous bench and jury trials to verdict.
Jeffery lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife Heather, their son Ryan, and their two dogs.
