Jennifer is an experienced attorney with over 17 years of private practice concentrating on real estate related litigation and transactional work. Jennifer’s practice began in Atlanta, Georgia where she joined the litigation team at King & Spalding, LLP. She went on to own and operate FitzGerald & Associates, LLC while simultaneously acting as Of Counsel for former Georgia governor, Roy E. Barnes, where she advocated for consumers in all aspects of lending and mortgage practices. Along with Governor Barnes, Jennifer successfully lobbied for important changes to Georgia’s lending laws and effectively changed the way that consumer funds are handled and protected in the State of Georgia. Jennifer’s experience in real property law qualified her to work as outside counsel for several national Title companies and as an adjunct faculty member teaching Real Property Law to undergraduates and M.B.A. students. Since moving to Chicago, Jennifer has focused her practice on residential real estate transactional work.
Jennifer received a B.A. in Art History at the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law.
