Lawrence Rosen


Larry graduated from The John Marshall Law School with the highest distinction in 1982. He began his legal career at Mayer, Brown and Platt in Chicago in 1982. In 1988, he left Mayer, Brown to become a partner at Lawrence, Kamin, Saunders and Uhlenhop. He is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator with an extensive practice in the areas of securities matters, commercial and corporate disputes, anti-trust matters, class actions, construction disputes, and employment discrimination (e.g. race, sex and religion) and sexual harassment matters. Over his entire legal career, he has first-chaired and tried many jury and bench trials in state and federal courts, tried arbitrations before the AAA, FINRA, NYSE and NASD and argued many appeals in the Seventh Circuit Federal Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme and Appellate Courts.

Over the years, he has represented such companies as Stanley Morgan, Dean Witter, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Shatkin, Raymond James, Nash Weiss, Heartland Funds, Securities America Inc., Rockwell International, Playtex, the Boeing Company, Grant Thornton, Mayfair Construction Company and the American Express Company.
